There are many ways to drive traffic to your website including paying for visitors by clicks(PPC), article marketing and forum commenting just to name a few.  I have found one of the best ways is to do article marketing as you can get your website to the top of the organic listing and it is totally free!  If you submit well written articles to major sites like Ezinearticles.com then not only will you get people visiting your website from these links, but the authoritive sites will pass on page rank to your website.

Another strategy called social media when combined with article marketing can help bring in hordes of traffic.  Social media has exploded onto the Internet world and is now being used by all the top marketers to send out news of websites, products and services.
